1. Purpose
These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") define the terms and conditions of use of the services offered by EasyPDF (hereinafter "the Service"), as well as the rights and obligations of the parties.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
EasyPDF is an online service that allows you to:
- Edit PDF documents (text, images, annotations)
- Merge multiple PDF files
- Split PDF documents
- Compress PDF files
- Convert documents to or from PDF format
- Extract data from PDF documents using artificial intelligence
- Electronically sign documents
3. Acceptance of Terms
Use of the Service implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms. These Terms are accessible at any time on the site and shall prevail over any other version or contradictory document.
EasyPDF reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of these changes by any appropriate means. Use of the Service after modification of the Terms constitutes acceptance of the new conditions.
4. Account Creation
Access to certain features of the Service requires creating a user account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Immediately notify any unauthorized use of your account
- Not create an account for another person without their authorization
You are responsible for all activities carried out under your account.
5. Use of the Service
By using the Service, you agree to:
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Not use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent the Service's security measures
- Not transmit viruses or malicious code
- Not overload or disrupt the operation of the Service
- Not collect data from other users without their consent
You are solely responsible for the content of documents you upload and modify through the Service. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to these documents.
6. Pricing and Payment
The Service offers different usage plans:
- Pay-per-use: €0.50 per document modification
- Pro Subscription: €20/month or €150/year for unlimited modifications
- Enterprise Plan: custom quote for specific business needs
Payments are processed securely through our provider Stripe. All prices are in euros and include applicable taxes.
Subscriptions are automatically renewed at the end of each period. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your personal space.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including but not limited to its interface, features, source code, algorithms, trademarks and logos, is protected by intellectual property rights.
You retain all rights to documents you upload and modify through the Service. By using the Service, you grant EasyPDF a limited license to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
8. Data Protection
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms. Privacy Policy
Your documents are processed securely and deleted after processing (24 hours for non-subscribers, permanent storage for Pro subscribers).
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". EasyPDF does not guarantee:
- That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- That the results obtained will be accurate or reliable
- That defects will be corrected
In no event shall EasyPDF be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your personal space.
EasyPDF reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, without notice, in case of violation of these Terms or for any other legitimate reason.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
